I have loved Chicago for as long I can remember. Last night I was scrolling on Facebook, as we all do these days, and I watched a reel with memories of the 80’s with Chicago as the music and then all my memories came flooding in. Memories of a much simpler time and a sort of mourning just swept over me. Anyways, I went directly to YouTube to watch all the videos. My first stop was “Will You Still Love Me”. I don’t know why I am just now finding out that you were the lead vocalist of that era but WOW! I have been listening on repeat all morning. Yours and Bill’s vocals just blow me away. Thank you for making me a fan once again.

Carl Magnus Halen

Thanks for your magic! listening to you is good for the soul!

I believe greatly in the 6 degrees if separation and to me this is a great example. I can’t believe that you didn’t promote yourself as a singer. You are a very talented singer/songwriter. You talked about “being ready” and I can totally agree with that. My partner has 50+ songs and has recorded them several times. Now that I have retired from work I can be co-manager and hopefully move the songs forward rather than gathering dust. You gave me a lot of information on that. Thankyou. The other thing is your drug history. Do not be ashamed of this. I was one night in Sydney and on my balcony high as a kite and contemplating jumping. Instead I called a Drug Hotline and spoke to a very learned man. It was almost like he was in the room with me and I could feel him touch my hand. He said to me “consider yourself lucky. There are not many people who have been to hell and back”. That made me think of being an individual with things to offer. I got my Social Work Degree and spent 23 years working in Mental Health and disability for kids with brain injury. It was a difficult job but satisfying when magic happens. Talk soon Jason Scheff.
